Wassily Kandinsky- Thirty: Reproduction of a 1937 work by Kandinsky from the Musee d'Art Moderne, George Pompidou Collection, Paris, France. It is a serigraph on heavy wove paper with deckle edges. This was a product of Kandinsky's "Great Synthesis" period in which he actively and pointedly drew from both the influences of his life and his own progression as an artist. In this instance, that practice takes the form of the individual images in each square, each wildly different from the next in style and presentation.
