Derived from Cone's 1987 acrylic on canvas "Criterion Center" the image depicts the Criterion Theater which played films on New York's Broadway from 1938 to 2000 and hosted the US premieres of "The Ten Commandments," "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Patton" among many others.
